Privacy policy

NaukriBoard (naukriboard.com and the NaukriBoard Android app) lists government job notifications, results, admit cards and answer keys collected from official and public sources. This page explains, in plain words, what data the website and the app handle. The short version: there is no account, your settings stay on your phone, and we do not sell or share personal data.
No account, no sign-in
You never create an account or log in. We do not ask for your name, phone number, email address, Aadhaar or any other ID. Nothing you do in the app is tied to you as a person.
What stays on your phone
Your language (English or Hindi), light or dark theme, your highest qualification if you answer that question, and the jobs you save are stored only on your device: in the app's own storage, or in your browser's storage on the website. They are never uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the app, or clearing site data in your browser, deletes them.
Push notifications (app)
If you allow notifications, the app subscribes to exactly one topic on Firebase Cloud Messaging, a Google service: for example "new jobs, in Hindi, for graduates". Firebase creates a device token to deliver messages; Google handles it under the Firebase privacy terms. Our servers send to topics only and never store device tokens or lists of devices.
You can turn notifications off at any time in Android settings. The subscription changes automatically when you change the language or the qualification in the app.
Voice search (app)
The microphone is used only while you tap the mic button on the search screen. Your phone's own speech recognition service (usually Google's) turns speech into text under its own privacy policy. NaukriBoard never records, stores or receives the audio. Only the final text is used, as the search query sent to our API.
Server logs
When the app or the website asks our servers for jobs, the servers (Google Cloud, Mumbai region) receive your IP address, the page or query requested and basic device information such as the browser or app version, as every web server does. These logs are used only to keep the service running, fast and secure, and are deleted automatically within 30 days. We do not use them to identify or profile you.
Links to official websites
Apply, notification, admit card and result links open the official government website, inside the app's browser view or in your browser. Those websites have their own privacy policies, and we do not see what you do there. Always read the official notification before paying any fee.
Cookies and trackers
The website sets one cookie, jd_lang, to remember your language. There are no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and the app contains no advertising or analytics software.
Children
NaukriBoard is meant for job seekers aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date at the top.
