- Age limit
- Up to 18 years. The upper age limit for General category candidates should not exceed 37 years. The maximum upper age limit for Scheduled Caste candidates who are residents of Punjab State shall be 42 years. The maximum age limit, giving relaxation in upper age limit for State and Central Government employees, shall be 45 years. The upper age limit for widows, divorcees and certain other categories of married women, as per Punjab Government instructions vide letter No. 1/50/83-5PP(1368)/3454 dated 23.04.1984, will be relaxed Maximum Age : 40 years.
