Eligibility

- 10th pass, 12th pass. Post-wise eligibility is listed in the vacancy table above.
- Age limit
- Up to 35 years (as on 4 Nov 2026). SC/ST : 5 years OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) : 3 years PwBD (UR) : 10 years PwBD (OBC) : 13 years PwBD (SC/ST) : 15 years (maximum age of a PwBD applicant on the closing date must not exceed 56 years) Ex-Servicemen (UR) : 3 years after deduction of the actual military service rendered from the actual age as on the closing date. Ex-Servicemen (OBC/SC/ST) : 6 years for OBC and 8 years for SC/ST after deduction of the actual military service rendered. Any other age relaxation is as per extant GoI/DoPT/CSIR recruitment rules. SC/ST/OBC (NCL) age relaxation is available only for posts reserved for the respective category. Candidates applying against posts not reserved for them are treated on par with unreserved candidates, though fee exemption still applies to eligible candidates.
