Age limit

Up to 38 years. Chhattisgarh SC, ST and OBC (non-creamy layer) candidates : Up to 5 years in the upper age limit Women candidates (as per Chhattisgarh Civil Services special provisions for appointment of women, 1997) : Maximum Age : 10 years in the upper age limit Persons with disabilities : As per instructions of the General Administration Department, maximum age limit relaxation Permanent or temporary government servants of Chhattisgarh : Age should not be more than 38 years Temporary employees applying for another post (including work-charged, contingency-paid and project implementation committee employees) : Age should not be more than 38 years Retrenched government servants : Period of earlier temporary service, up to a maximum of 7 years, is deducted from age; resulting age should not exceed the upper limit by more than 3 years Volunteer Nagar Sainik and non-commissioned officers of Nagar Sena : Relaxation for the period of service, subject to a maximum of 8 years; age should not exceed 38 years Couples awarded under the inter-caste marriage promotion scheme (Untouchability Abolition Act, 1984), for the upper-caste spouse : Up to 5 years Recipients of Shaheed Rajiv Pandey Puraskar, Gundadhur Samman, Maharaja Pravirchand Bhanjdeo Samman and National Youth Award : Up to 5 years
